Required Courses 

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to be issued a license.  Before you obtain your Salespersons License you must show evidence of successful completion of three college-level courses in Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one additional college-level course selected from among the following: Real Estate Appraisal, Property Management, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Economics, Legal Aspects of Real Estate, Real Estate Office Administration, General Accounting, Business Law, Escrow’s, Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending.

When applying for the exam, students must submit evidence of completing the necessary approved courses.  Our courses are approved by both the Real Estate Department (DRE) and the Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE) as correspondence (home-study) courses under our publisher name Television Education.  These approvals mean we are authorized to issue a Certification of Completion to students when they complete the course.
